Join Peachtree Handspinners Guild and Friends for a weekend of classes, shopping and fun. August 8th & 9th at the Lyndon House Arts Center in Athens, Georgia. Registration is in full swing, so get your first choices by registering early.
There will be workshops in spinning, dyeing, weaving, knitting, crochet and other exciting media. Some of the classes will be available for on-site registration.
Each day from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm the Vendor Marketplace will be open. The public is invited to come shop; there will be no entry fee to shop the Marketplace. The Marketplace is shaping up to be a great place for getting your summer fiber shopping done. Our booth space is filling up and that is exciting! We will have vendors from all over: Gale's Art, Stone Mountain, GA; The Copper Corgi, Savannah, GA; Maple Row Stock & Wool, Sherwood, MI; Fiber Arts Republic, Georgetown, TX; Cotton Patch Spinners, Tifton, GA; Far Out Farm, Cornersville, TN; Wooden Spinner, Vicksburg, MS; and Kristen's Fiber Studio, Atlanta, GA.
Our Door Prize Donors and Sponsors are sending us fabulous things.
